Instead of a comment system, like the Facebook "wall", we made Open Mail.
Open mail has several advantages.
1. mails can be rated, responded to, and qualified according to various criterea (multi-metrics).
Therefore, they don't just scroll off the page like in a FB stream or Twitter, to be lost forever.
I mean, they DO scroll off the page. But if they are highly rated, or responded to, they can rise to the top again, when people search for best rated, or most popular.
So quality comments are encouraged, unlike on FB and Twitter, which encourage minimal effort at quality.
2. Open mails can be composed to anyone. So people can write to political figures, business or religious leaders, or famous people.
Then, through our rating and response system, those open mails that are best will rise to the top.
